How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Schema, part 1



The rise in schema-free and document-oriented databases has led some to question the value and necessity of schemas. Schemas, in particular those following the relational model, can seem too restrictive, and the case has been made that software development can be faster and more agile without them.
